What does being sassy, confetti, sprinkles and unicorns have in common? EVERYTHING! I teamed up with Sassy Mouth Photo and The Confetti Bar to sponsor a kickass photobooth for Love Haven 2014. Love Haven was a handmade & vintage marketplace + art show + performance showcase event that took place last weekend. Let me go over the birth of this interactive and insanely fun photo booth.
A few weeks ago during a meeting with Jessica, I mentioned that I have been seriously thinking of adding custom photobooths as a service I wish to offer as a party maker. While I was going over all of the ideas that have been circling in my head, she mentioned that Melissa of Vintanthromodern Vintage Shop asked her to do a photobooth for Love Haven this year. Jessica invited me to team up with her to make it the most magical and most fun. I accepted the invite with a giant “HELL YES!” and that magic began.
I have the amazing habit of thinking of something I want to do and jumping right into it. This can be awesome because it gets the ball rolling but also be terrible because you can instantly feel overwhelmed. After exchanging a few emails with Jessica and setting up a couple of meetings, we had no clue what we were fully going to do for the theme. We were worried as to how we were going to manage the booth, while taking photos, while being fabulous all at the same time. Let’s just say destiny mixed with a good friendship with Marissa of Sassy Mouth Photo saved the day! Marissa stepped in to be our photographer extraordinaire and to bring the sass. Team Sassy Confetti Sprinkles was born!
So you must be thinking…what does this have to do with unicorns? Everything sillies! Jessica and I both at the same time realized we needed to unleash our inner Lisa Frank fantasies onto the people of Love Haven. Unicorns are everything and the only thing that could make them better is confetti.

Jessica and I created the concept, the backdrop, the kissing booth, and jazzed up Mr. Sparkles the Unicorn Pinata. The unicorn horns were from the wonderful Tweedle Dee Designs and the Unicorn Dandruff confetti of course was created by the lovely Jessica. We wouldn’t have such amazingly stunning images if it wasn’t for Marissa of Sassy Mouth Photo and the models were the stunning attendees, vendors, and party monsters of Love Haven 2014. If you couldn’t tell, we had a TON of fun and we would more than love to run the Unicorn Booth for another event so hit me up if you’re interested in being a unicorn and stuff.
Party on, sparkle, shine and as always…
