Sprinkles and Booze small celebrations

One of my personal life goals is to assure that I am celebrating life daily. No matter how busy or how crazy the day can get, I try to remember the main point of living is to live.

This morning, while away on a Boston business trip I woke up with a case of the Mondays. My back has been bothering me for a couple of weeks now, I have to deal with a minor car issue when I get back home, on top of laundry and the other “gifts” that life hands us along the way. I am trying to make a habit of making daily gratitude lists. No matter how silly or how small the celebration, it’s still a celebration. Here are some of the rad things that are going well in my life right now…

1. Waking up to a beautiful sunny winter day in Boston this morning. Yes, we’ve had a brutal winter but nothing beats the beauty that it truly brings.

2. The coffee maker in my hotel room. I’m about to use the hell out of it and YES, I am excited.

3. Disco the Unicorn! One of my Valentine’s Day gifts from my boyfriend was a stuffed unicorn that I instantly fell in love with. I named him Disco because it seemed proper.

4. My new Stila lip color of choice is Stila Gemma color balm lipstick. This lipstick is so wonderful I might need to have a separate post dedicated to it’s greatness.

5. Awesome party design opportunities that are on the rise. I’ve been properly getting my hustle on and not quitting my daydream. It’s actually paying off and it’s a blessing on a million levels.

6. Laughter! I am forever grateful for being able to laugh and giving the gift of laughter to others (most of the time without even trying).

7. You guys! If it wasn’t for you guys, I definitely would not have made it this far in my blogging/party making career. You are the raddest and complete me.

Sprinkles and Booze small celebrations 1

Life is full of little things to be excited about. No matter how shit your day may seem, there is always something worth celebrating. I have trained myself to push through the rubbish because it is just that…rubbish. Most issues are temporary and shouldn’t get in the way of your overall success and happiness. Sometimes we find it easier to give in to the negative but that is not living.

Gratitude lists are nothing new, but they often get lost in our daily grind. We should all make it our personal goal to remember to cherish and celebrate ourselves. To keep myself on track, maybe I should share my mini daily celebrations more often.

What are you excited about celebrating today? Go out and get a Cotton Candy Cupcake because you deserve one and as always…

Stay sexy Gotham!

So, i’ve been in Portland, OR for a week and two days and I must say it is LOVE! Like mind-blowing sex in a cushion fort sort of awesome.

It’s been a few weeks since i’ve posted a Sprinkles vs Sparkles due to the fact that i’ve been running around like a crazy person for days on end and I didn’t have time to compile all that is awesome from the week. But here we are folks get ready for the awesome and all that is good. For those that aren’t sure what the hell I am talking about at all, Sprinkles vs Sparkles is sort of my version of a gratitude list but more hyper active. I will share my weekly Sprinkles which will consist of things i’ve found via the internet (and off of the internet) during the week that I loved and my Sparkles which will be all over my personal achievements towards goals and wonderful things within my personal life.

So let’s get to it then!

♡ This Vine video by Reggie Watts made me smile.

Sprinkles vs Sparkles.

Friday, December 7th, 2012

I would like to thank all of you that has been on this insanely vibrant, amazing, fun-tastic journey of being a blogger thus far. Today marks the one month anniversary of my blog and I am ever so grateful for all of the wonderful people in my life and the unbelievable support.

I couldn’t think of a better day to introduce Sprinkles vs Sparkles. This will be something I will post weekly (typically at the end of the week). It’s sort of a gratitude list on steroids. I will post all of my sprinkles, which will be things i’ve come across during the week that I fell in love with. I will then follow it up with all of my sparkles which will be things I am particularly proud of, excited about doing, or things I have achieved.

With that said, let’s get this party started!

I LOVE when couples take adorable and creative photos to document event in their lives. This couple had the cutest most amazing series of photos documenting how a baby is formed.

♡ Something I am probably going to buy if I get a bunch of extra Christmas money.

This necessary awesomeness.

Such an amazing conversation (and funny) between Joseph Gorden-Levitt and Rainn Wilson. Super inspiring.

Mr.Watts gets it right every time. I would SO buy this car because of him.

Greatest chase of all time.

 Loved these helpful freelancing tips.

This gift guide to help us crazy busy unorganized people get it together. It was posted on the wonderful Crown and Glory blog.

A really amaze-balls episode of The Walking Dead. Sadly, they will be testing the world’s patience because it will be continued in February 2013.

This how to guide on making giant ass beautiful flowers.

♡ I’m in love with the mini playdates I’ve had with friends this week. There is nothing more magical than getting together and catching up with people you adore.  Remembering that I have these amazing shoes♡ I made it a point to smile at every stranger I saw all week. To my surprise no one was weirded out and smiled back. ♡ Sent out endless e-mails for future projects for Sprinkles and Booze along with my other ventures. Had a brilliant amount of good responses so there should be some exciting things in the near future so stay tuned.  Did tons of research about proper finance planning and feeling more like an adult now. ♡ I made a fantastic juice similar  to this. It was to DIE for. I want to juice everything now.   Found out I will be have Creative Suite soon on my new Macbook Pro so loads of photos and design projects will be coming to a blog near you.   Watched countless hours of The Twilight Zone while eating cherries. ♡ Being reunited with this ring ♡ The unreal amount of love (tough and sweet) that I’ve received within my first month of this fantastic venture. I am so grateful and proud of how things are coming along and I seriously love all of you bunnies for life.

Finding out that this party is happening in my life this weekend. CAN NOT WAIT!

xo, a go go bye!
