My Geeky-Glam Obsession: Revivemeboutique

Monday, July 29th, 2013

Why hello there!

I am sure a few of you caught on that I am a total comic geek. When you can combine my love for glam and geek I basically lose my damn mind. For months now, I have been obsessing over Revivemeboutique. Revivemeboutique is a completely custom online boutique in which you can buy phone cases, bags, shoes, among many other brilliant accessories. Jenny, the owner of Revivemeboutique, understands how to properly blend geek with chic and I am in love with her designs.

I have never been a fan of boring cocktail attire or bridal party dresses. Revivemeboutique accessories are complete inspiration. These accessories are perfect if you are looking for a more edgy but formal look. How bad ass would your maid of honor look if she was sporting a Spiderman clutch and some red pumps. I love accessories that help you to think outside of the box. Make your formal events special and memorable.

Batman clutches for the win! Everything about Batman is pretty much perfect. Jenny’s custom designs are made from recycled magazines and comic books. She is pretty genius at taking something that you’ve always loved and making it something completely new and glamours.

In the very near and dear future, I will be placing a custom order with Revivemeboutique. I need a million plus Batman items for photoshoots and events in the like. No worries, I will be sure to take a million Instagram photos once I have my items.

Currently Revivemeboutique has a website in the works but for now, you can contact Jenny on Facebook and also Twitter if you can’t live another day without one of these custom geeky beauties! You honestly can’t go wrong with posh superhero accessories. You will be the talk of your next event in the best way possible.

What are your thoughts on Revivemeboutique? Do you need to be revived from all of the awesome I just thrown at you?

If you had a Fairy Godmother, who would it be and how would you party with her?

betsey sprinkles 2

If you had fairy Godmother who would it be? Have you ever thought about it? No, just me?! Well, humor me! I have always said that I full heartedly believe that Betsey Johnson is my fairy Godmother and she doesn’t know it yet. How kick ass would Betsey be as a magical and fashionable mentor. The parties we would have and the dresses we would wear…could you imagine how wonderful that would be?

If Betsey was my fairy Godmother we would…

We would buy a giant sized tank and only put in beautiful seahorses and jellyfish. We would fill rooms with colorful ballons and dance around in them for hours. We would pet baby elephants and jump on trampolines. We would put on tulle skirts and dance in the rain. We would find secret gardens and drink tea. We would paint colorful things on walls and hug puppies. We would go to a unicorn farm and eat ice cream. We would wear high heels and blow glitter into people’s faces. How would you spend your time partying with your fairy Godmother?

Bling It On Glam Hpnotiq Logo Version 2

photo (11)

There is something about a good pair of heels that make us feel fun, sexy, and confident. I adore my Iron Fist Zombie heels. They are show stoppers and party starters all in a single pair of shoes.

The summer is coming which means loads of parties and gatherings will be had. There is no better way to kick of the season of parties than with a kick ass contest! Hpnotiq GlamLouder Contest is in full swing! The Bling It On! contest wants you (yes, YOU!) to send photos of your most glam-tastic items for a chance to win a trip to L.A. with three of your wonderful girlfriends. What will you be doing in L.A. you ask? Why getting makeovers, going on shopping sprees with Khloe Kardashian Odom, and having a photo shoot that might be used for a future Hpnotiq advertisement of course!

I took it upon myself to enter my sassy undead heels. Everyone loves a fabulous zombie, right?

They might not have a lot of “bling” but they are pretty fabulous and my kind of glam!

Dying (or undying) to enter? The Hpnotiq’s Glammest Heels Challenge time is NOW! Hurry and enter because the entry period for the glammest heels ends at 11:59:59 a.m. EST on June 16th! In the first challenge, participants are asked to share their latest “Shoe Crush”. Hpnotiq wants you to show them the glammest heels you can find. Take a picture of your own, or find a picture of that pair of shoes online you’ve been lusting over for months. Four lucky winners will be picked in the first round to get their choice of glam heels valued at up to $800. You can view the contest rules here! DO NOT WAIT!

Do you have a pair of shoes in mind? What are some of your favorite party shoe brands? How do you like to GlamLouder?

Unleash your Superheroine!

print sprinkles

Iron Fist Clothing revealed their Spring/Summer capsule collection entitled “Super Bitches” and it’s pretty dope! It features pin-up styled artwork of superheroines and villains. The LA based clothing label collaborated with artist Lora Zombie to create this comic inspired print. It showcases fierce and empowered super-women and I completely approve.

The term “bitch” can sometimes carry a heavy sexist negativity along with it. I think it’s pretty clear that Iron Fist Clothing is using the term to celebrate strong, badass women. Just because I approve of this print/line, doesn’t mean there isn’t a long line of women that completely disagree with me.  I will agree that it might be a little risqué for some but the concept is supposed to be empowering.

How do you feel about this new Spring/Summer print? Do you think it’s objectifying or brilliant?
